Growth of Statistics has been enormous and more so during the last couple of decades it would be an understatement merely to say that without Statistics no field would function well in all completeness if Revenue making and Result producing are two critically important aspects to consider.
Guess what? They are in fact, if any industry would say, no way, we are in this field merely to make serve, then they are trying to tell you that, their service offers Nothing of considerable Value.
Why? Because all things of Value ought to be bought with a price. Be it Health, Service, Care, Nutrition, and the list goes on.
So if an Industry’s goal is to give Value to its clients, then the only way they would be able to do that, if and when they give Attention, Focus and Worth, to the job at hand.
Remember, for all the three to occur, you need to be specific and goal oriented. In brevity, if you want to take down champion boxer, you just cannot believe that your swings will land the knock out blow, may be in Hollywood movies, but life is not Hollywood movie.
As the famous Star, Sylvester Stallone, once remarked, “Life is meaner than you can think off, not you, not me, can punch more meaner than life, it is not how hard you can hit that counts, but how hard you can get hit, and keep coming back is what that counts”
Which again merely means, get all the skills you need to succeed and keep your focused pressure on the target, for you know the area that would produce the knockout, so go get it.
To cut the long story short, the most important questions for the success of any organization depends on information,(which we call as Data) that they have and what they can or would do with their Data.
